DONATONI Z1000/1200/1400/1600/2000 are large numerically controlled work centers with 5-6 interpolated axes, Z-axis stroke from 1000 to 2000 mm. The centers are designed for profiling, notching, turning of columns, sculptures, notching and cutting.
These machines are equipped with an ISO 50 electric spindle and use diamond blades with a minimum diameter of 500 mm up to a maximum diameter of 1200 mm. The following diamond tools are used on the machines: finger cutter, countersink, horizontal disc, diamond tips to perform various types of work. The equipment can have a turning assembly and a rotary table. Both units have a numerically controlled rotation axis, due to which the number of interpolated axes increases from 5 to 6.
The moving parts run on ball screw sliders assembled with linear guides. The motion is transmitted from brushless motors assembled with high precision gears through gears and toothed racks that are hardened, ground and have helicoidal teeth (X and Y axis). To raise and lower the tool head, the motion is transmitted through a ball screw gear. All moving elements are protected by bellows seals and are in an oil bath (X and Y axis). The other axes are lubricated with grease via a central lubrication system.
